What is the PTO?

PTO stands for "Parent Teacher Organization". Our mission is to bring families and staff together to enhance and enrich educational opportunities for all children. By working together we provide our school with funds, programs, resources, & services that will benefit every child at Hemlock Creek Elementary.

Who is the PTO?

Every Hemlock Creek parent, staff member, and teacher are automatically a member of our PTO. We encourage every PTO member to become involved as much or as little as they are able.

When are the meetings?

We typically meet the first Tuesday of the month and do our best to keep the meetings short and concise! Meetings are held in the library at Hemlock Creek Elementary and childcare is provided free of charge. You do not have to attend meetings but are always welcome to join! The 2024 - 2025 meeting dates are:

What does PTO do?

Through fundraising and volunteering, Hemlock Creek PTO...

Provides enrichment opportunities to students with guest authors, artists, and performers
Supplements field trip costs to keep fees affordable for families
Coordinates school book fairs
Makes sure our teachers feel supported and appreciated through meals, treats, and extra classroom money
Provides extra supplies and equipment that is not covered by the school's budget
Provides students with a birthday book each year
Offers services to families like the School Supply Kits and Apparel Sales
Supports the 4th grade end of the year celebration
Purchases supplies for STEAM, Literacy, and Math Nights
Provides transportation to the WDPHS so students are able to watch district plays and musicals
Purchases both indoor and outdoor recess equipment
Supports the PBIS program by providing funds for activities and prizes
